Delivery and Returns

When is the earliest we can deliver?

We can deliver Next Day providing an order is placed before 3pm (Mon-Fri) we also do timed deliveries by 10.30am, 12pm and Saturday Delivery.  If you would like to make an order past this time or have other requiments for delivery then please give us a call 01752 310132 and we'll try and  accomedate you. 

For hires delivered on a Monday please place orders by 11am Saturday and we will deliver Monday.

Delivery of Equipment

We have accounts with both DPD/DPD Local and Royal Mail.  We mostly use DPD Next Day Service, we use Royal Mail Special Delivery for instances such as deliveries to Northen Ireland, Isle of White, Isle of Man and remote parts of the UK.  If you prefer one over the other then please do get in touch and we'll try to accomedate you.

Prices vary depending on the carrier and the weight of the parcel, which are indicated on the page for each lens.

We offer a delivery and collection service for our hired equipment, we would recommend our collection service for hires weighing over 2kg packed.

*Royal Mail Special Delivery rates apply to Northern Ireland, Isle of White, Isle Of Man as part of the UK, This means that the prices quoted also apply.

 If you require same day delivery or any other specific requirments then do get in touch.

Can I track my delivery?

Yes, you will receive a disaptch notice once the order has been sent.  You will also receive an email and text message from our courier with live information including estimate time of delivery and collection point options etc.. please note this is not available to first time hirers if this is required please give us call and we'll try and accomedate this.

Receiving Equipment

We aim to deliver a day before the hire starts, this is free of charge to elimate any courier delays if it is not delivered before the start of the hire it will be delivered on the first day of your hire please bare this in mind when booking making sure you book to receive equipment atleast a day or two before your planned shoot incase of a delay with the courier, 95% of time it gets there on time.

At present we do not deliver outside the UK and Northern Ireland.

We prefer to deliver equipment to the address at which your credit card is registered. However, as lenses have to be signed for on delivery, we appreciate that this isn't always the most convenient option for everyone. So we can deliver to a different address e.g. a workplace, if you specify a second address.

You are politely reminded that you are responsible for the lens from the moment it's signed for, whether it is you or somebody signing on your behalf.

Late arrival of orders

On occasion deliveries may arrive late and late arrivals are judged by the day the courier first attempts to deliver the hired equipment at the delivery address. If an item does arrive later the 1st day of your hire at the latest, you have three options:

  • You may cancel the hire contract and return the item immediately to us and payment will be refunded.
  • You can extend the return date to complete the original hiring period providing that the item isn't already booked by another customer.

Whatever you decide, please let us know if an item does not arrive on time.  Please make sure that you are available at the delivery address at the expected delivery time.

If items haven't arrived before 5.30pm on the day before the hire starts call us immediately on our number 01752 310 132 and we'll try track it down for you.

Returning Equipment

When packing an item for return, please keep the ‘Other Information’ sheet out for reference. Use the ‘Checklist’ to help you pack all the pieces of equipment etc into the box. Close and secure the box appropriately using appropriate materials tapes etc. Stick the pre-printed Lenspimp address label on the box covering fully the old label  that has your delivery address.The closed, secured and labelled box is now ready for despatch by one of the following means:

  • If picked up locally, phone us to arrange a time for its return.
  • If you have arranged for a collection service, if we haven't already been in touch regarding this give us a call no later than 12pm on the day of it's collection date.
  • We recommed you send it by Royal Mail Special Delivery from you local post office.
  • If you wish to send it via own courier please be sure to send it back Next Day, Signed For and Insured to it's value.
