The 500 f4 VR has Silent Wave Motor for fast autofocusing, 3 Extra-low dispersion elements and Nano Crystal Coat to reduce flare and ghosting, and Nikon’s newest Vibration Reduction system. The VR system not only provides 4 stops of vibration reduction, its automatic tripod sensing mode reduces vibration induced by mirror slap and shutter release.

Nikon 500 f4 ED-IF AF-S VR by KEITH ADCOCK
I used this lens for shooting the British Superbikes at Snetterton, with some superb results. The lens is easy to use after reading the manual on the Nikon website. It is a very heavy lens and I am glad that I hires the Gimbol with it for tripod mounting. The lens I hired was in as new condition. It is the first time I have used LensPimp and the service was brilliant. I would certainly use them again.
